BEFORE THE AIRPORT
When preparing for your flight, we recommend that you give yourself time to pack properly and to ensure that you have the required documentation for your flight. Your airline should provide you with information on when your flight will be boarding, as well as the recommended time for you to arrive before to check-in. In many cases, you may be able to check-in early, if you have access to the Internet. This can save you time, especially if you do not need to check luggage.
In regard to luggage, there are certain limitations on what can be placed in your carry-on, and these can depend on the airline you are travelling with as well as the items prohibited by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA). For more information, please see our Luggage section.
